Happy Hour Arts

Be the First to See the Artwork

We are mixing it up this year…with a Happy Hour Arts Reception on October 11 prior to the two-day indoor and outdoor art show.  The event is for pre-pledge VIP supporters (that’s you) and sponsors to see and/or buy before the show opens to the general public.

YOU and a GUEST become VIP supporters by pledging dollars ($100-$500) that you plan to spend at Art in the Park plus $25 for two to attend the Happy Hour Arts Reception. Your pre-pledge plus $25 allows you and a guest to attend the Happy Hour Arts Reception on October 11 from 5 pm – 8 pm AND get ‘Art Bucks’ equaling the money you pledged ($100-500) to buy art!

You and a guest may attend; enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine served throughout the evening as you talk to artists; listen to live music by the SIUE Jazz Band; and spend your ‘Art Bucks’ equaling your pre-pledge dollars with any of the 65 artists throughout the show!

Thank you for making us 20-years strong! Because of your support, Art in the Park continues to be the fun, high-quality, family-friendly event.  To see online representations of the artists’ work, go to www.highlandartscouncil.org.

The Happy Hour Arts Reception is sponsored by Edward Jones financial advisers: Matt Armentrout, Kevin Dewaele, DeAnna Bolt, and Brian Becker.

Register online at www.highlandartscouncil.org. Or call Lynnette Schuepbach at 618-558-0054 or                                                                                                                 make checks payable to ‘Highland Arts Council,’ noting ‘Happy Hour pre-pledge’ in the memo line, and mail to: Highland Arts Council, PO Box 33, Highland, IL 62249.

After we receive your pre-pledge dollars, your Happy Hour invitation will be mailed to you. ‘Art Bucks’ in the amount of your pre-pledge dollars may be picked up at the Happy Hour Arts Reception or at the Hospitality Booth at any time during the show.

Sign up soon…and we hope to see you at the 20th Art in the Park!
