Create a personalized portrait of a meaningful home or building through a combination of drawing, watercolor, and expressive ink. Students will begin by developing an architectural illustration from a reference photograph, then build color and atmosphere with watercolor before finishing the piece with ink linework and architectural details. The course will introduce observational drawing, composition, watercolor techniques, and expressive line while allowing students to lean toward either a more painterly or illustrative finished style. 

Beginners and advanced students welcome!
