For those looking to start drawing for the first time or those experienced in the medium, this 5-week course will expose students to the introduction of mark making, shading, composition, and drawing in perspective. Through observational drawing, you will learn to design the page as if it were a page from Leonardo da Vinci's sketchbook. With the guidance of instructor, Leah Sutton, students will complete exercises that will prepare them for larger observational drawings on subjects of their choosing.
Most materials included in cost of the class. The extra $10 for materials are for items you will take home with you.

Whether an absolute beginner or seasoned watercolor artist, this course offers you a chance to learn about the materials and technical skills surrounding watercolor. In this course, your highly-qualified instructor, Kenzie Holzinger-Smith, will walk you through a variety of observational skills, basic drafting, controlling value, and composition using watercolor. You will explore watercolor through landscapes, still life, as well as from your own images, to paint with the help of your instructor. This course will assist in learning important watercolor techniques.
